I'd say it would be dismissive if it was a pertinent question. From what we know so far about the caravan and the fact the person asking was a journalist who got through listening to the President saying that soldiers were harmed from the caravan, that's a pretty stupid question.
Right. I was pretty skeptical about the wall at first, mostly because I naively thought Central America improving would eradicate the need. I understand now that improvement won’t happen in my lifetime. I now want the wall there, 50 ft tall, with death spikes on top.
We need to make it an attraction. Put some turrets on top that shoot pellets, pay 540 bucks per person for 20 shots from one of the turrets

You could do death spikes or you could do needles. If somebody sees a spike, it looks intimidating and will either turn back or will try to work around it. Needles are barely seen and cheaper to make. They try to climb it and once they grab the ledge, they are in for the long fall down
