The idea that you can't identify with a character if you don't look like them is about as stupid an idea as I've ever heard.

I'm getting tired of throwing out claims like racist or bigoted, but if you can't identify with a character because of how they look, well, that might be why.

That is a good point though, I was trying to think of a character that wasn't white that I really identified with in a game, but the truth is that I don't know that I play that many character focused games.

@wolfman1911 I think we (by we I mean the whole server) should make an offensive video game.

Lots of people don't think of anime charters as asian, which is kind of true (it depends on the character).

I always use the example of Gundam Wing for that, where two characters look like they could be brothers, but one is ethnically American and the other Japanese.

My favorite one is the one about the Zeon terrorist, but Wing is definitely one of the best.

Other good gundams i've seen are the first, G Gundam, Unicorn wasn't bad, and kind of liked Iron-Blood (it was lacking a bit tho). My 2nd fav might be 08th MS Team.

I haven't watched all gundam, but i did like 08th ms team. I think I've seen g gundam and sd gundam. and parts of another one I don't remember the title of

I liked 08th MS Team as well, but I'm not entirely sure I've ever seen the end of it.

MS 08th was pretty cool on Toonami Midnight run back in the day.
