Ellen sounds like she is directly mocking herself, haha

It doesn't seem sporting to mock Ellen Page. Aren't you supposed to show patience for the mentally deficient?

I liked Juno, and thought she was kind of cute.
Then found out she was a lesbian, and thought, that's a shame.
Then i found out she was a feminist and thought, poor girl.............

@aguyyouknow I watched that Rubin video the other day, they get many things right. And then are just throw themselves into the Trump is bad (maybe even evil) camp..... lol

2019-02-23 04:49:52 UTC

yeah, that was so bizarre

2019-02-23 04:50:02 UTC

I mean, expected, since they're leftists

2019-02-23 04:50:35 UTC

but Lindsay going off on how trump is a "disaster" just made me have to stop listening and focus on work for a while before going back to it

2019-02-23 04:50:48 UTC

(I think it was him, wasn't it? I was listening to it on audio, so I'm not sure)

2019-02-23 04:51:35 UTC

Ya, it was Lindsay who said the most about it (tho neither talked about it much, as Rubin was trying to play it fair).

2019-02-23 04:54:19 UTC

I can't listen to Robin at all I forget what vid turned me off but I know it was a while ago

2019-02-23 04:54:26 UTC

Rubin

2019-02-23 04:55:13 UTC

I don't care if a someone does not like Trump, what i care about is how delusional about him people are (as he has done a very good job so far).

2019-02-23 04:56:05 UTC

The thing is, Dr. Boghossian and Lindsey, I know them both, they do not assume you are evil incarnate for liking trump. They are ok with people having differing opinions and work hard to keep people around them who do have differing opinions.

2019-02-23 04:58:29 UTC

I didn't say that they think people liking Trump are evil, they said Trump is a "disaster" (and "possibly" evil).

2019-02-23 04:59:10 UTC

Yeah. I am ok with people having that option.

2019-02-23 05:00:14 UTC

It ia good for us to recognize and listen to those who have differing opinions.

2019-02-23 05:00:42 UTC

It is a problem when we vilify people for having the wrong opinions.

2019-02-23 05:01:02 UTC

And i would prefer if peoples opinions/views were based in reality.
But this is just a dream......

2019-02-23 05:02:00 UTC

yeah, frankly I think that the love for trump by his core fanbase is overblown

2019-02-23 05:02:32 UTC

I think he's done a lot of good stuff, but I also have had plenty of issues with him

2019-02-23 05:02:45 UTC

signing that 1000 page bill in just a few days ago being the most recent example

2019-02-23 05:02:54 UTC

Look their veiw is nit based on TDS. They recognize trump has achived some good (Korea) just their threshold for good is different then ours.

2019-02-23 05:03:17 UTC

whose view, Lindsay?

2019-02-23 05:03:36 UTC

Both Lindsey and boghossian

2019-02-23 05:03:46 UTC

based on what he said in that interview, at least, no, it doesn't sound like he's recognized that trump has achieved ANYTHING good

2019-02-23 05:03:51 UTC

maybe that's because of the format

2019-02-23 05:04:03 UTC

but he came off as thinking that trump has been literally one of the worst presidents in history

2019-02-23 05:04:06 UTC

Like i said, i don't care that they don't like Trump (people are free to not like anyone), what i'm not ok with is how they are/were painting him, as it does not reflect reality.

2019-02-23 05:04:15 UTC

^this, pretty much

2019-02-23 05:04:39 UTC

I think the term Lindsay used was "an unmitigated disaster", wasn't it?

2019-02-23 05:04:48 UTC

Aye. Sorry I did not get what you were getting at.

2019-02-23 05:04:49 UTC

Yep.

2019-02-23 13:53:42 UTC

I like zero politicos.
Terry Pratchett had the right idea:
“If you want to see your elected official, visiting hours are between two and four at the local gaol”

2019-02-23 17:41:09 UTC

what's with zealots and always using kids for their shit

2019-02-23 17:47:29 UTC

it's because kids invoke a more visceral reaction in us

2019-02-23 17:47:42 UTC

it makes it easier to prey on peoples emotions when you have them associate a kid with your message

2019-02-23 17:55:17 UTC

Children are basically are main biological purpose and lots of people don't find much meaning outside of that, like working to feed their kids etc.

2019-02-23 17:56:46 UTC

pretty much. It's gotten to the point where I'll inherently distrust a message initially if the person putting out the message feels the need to use children to get it across
