I think the issue with Occupy, and this comes from hearing from some of the OG protestors, was that people actually coopted that shit for socialist garbage

To the point where the capable people ended up trying to nanny the commie idiots so they wouldn't freeze to death or burn the whole tent city down, and rich hipsters kept showing up just during their free time

And then they progressed to the point of 'Hey, don't report sexual assault to the cops, report it to us.'
