There is stupid leftist meme going around that venezuela is 70% private. if you see this call BS and ask for a source. That source is the venezuelen government in 2010 early in hugo chavez rule. they have not issue a new number since then. Also for comparison sweden is 25% public owned and the USA is 14% so the government owning even that much is a problem. It is also known that the number of government workers at least doubled under chavez. Lastly part of the reason the government shares havent grown as much as chavez wanted, was because when he seized a factory he basically destroyed it meaning the gov didn't really make much gains.
