China doesnt really take over the countries though. They take ports and a few key industries and than they have the countries government under control. I have not heard that they get involved in domestic politics or craft legislation.

If you just mean like broader social policies or things like income tax then sure, that seems to be the case

I ment apart from that. they dont get involved in how the countries are run they only care for politics when it involves them. So not really taking over the country in a colonial sense and someone implied earlier countries would benefit from the US taking over. If you dont get involved in social policy those peoples lifes wont change. If anything taking the recources will worsen their lot.

It's not that you can't unfuck these places, it's that they're not on the right trajectory to unfucking at the moment, barring maybe Chinese colonization, which would be regrettable for other reasons

I think China's goal in Africa, and everywhere else they are involved, is to use those countries for what we use China for.

I think it is to apply economic pressure to get these countries to support China on a global scale and to build up a network of traderoutes completely under chinese control
