I don't think Trump ever wanted red flag laws, he said that so the left wouldn't get out the pitch forks. Look at his tweet about the Fredo. "Would Chris Cuomo be given a Red Flag for his recent rant? Filthy language and a total loss of control. He shouldn’t be allowed to have any weapon. He’s nuts!".. Poking fun at the left, showing them how their idea of the red flag law is completely insane.
