Oh, sorry...

Not Boomer. Just lazy.

legally you probably couldn't get another gun if you were red flagged
lol i like how he deletes "this time"
lmao
@Lord Zedd
*Legally...*
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was funny...
illegally though, if you were red flagged likely they'd be watching you
that's another part, time limits
you talk like an autistic boomer tho
Ya, sure, I'm worried.
#NoNotReally.
if you're red flagged is it 24 hours, 48, a week a month?
these details are important
i'm getting really autistic about this fact that i keep pointing out lol
Doesn't matter. You can get a gun in 12 hours.
Not *legally,* but get one.
so you're skipping over the part where they're likely being watched
how about this as an alternative, red flagging but not taking the guns but a watch is placed on the target
they are suspended from buying new fire arms while flagged
and red flags could play into buying a gun down the line
the question is, do you inform them they are flagged?
it's potentially dangerous to people around them because "snitches get stitches" but it also could have a deterrent effect knowing they're being watched
If you are hell bent on doing a mass shooting, the fact you don't have a gun wouldn't deter you, you would find another way or you would get a new gun out of the trunk of your local thugs car.
that's kind of the same argument the left uses with the wall though
"they'll just use ladders"
so why build a wall at all?
you might not stop all but if you could prevent some
sometimes the best you can do is manage an issue, you're not going to stop all crime but you should make it as difficult as possible for them to do it
I think the real solution to a lot of the gun violence isn't really in regulation and laws but fixing the broken systems in place
the FBI seems completely inept and police are often hamstringed by their local leaders
sadly any potential red flag law would be useless unless that system is fixed first
I agree with you, we should prevent as much as we can. Im just pointing out people will find other ways, not that nothing should be done.
But how to do that is really the issue
it's not a simple issue, it's got layers, there's societal level stuff like fatherless households, the demonisation and marginalisation of men, the lack of policing, the lack of activities for young people
but better policing is a start
Instead of one red flag, maybe you need to have .. i don't know like 5 flags before action can be taken.
hmm or a weighted system
yellow flags, red flags etc
until something is actually drafted all we can really do is speculate
Yup, ultimately it's not up to us peasants. Our keepers will inform us of their decision. Doesn't mean we shouldn't make noise, just the choice is not ours.
