I agree that too much diversity is not a good thing, but too much of anything is not good. I think 'diversity is our strength' is a good motto but, it should not be the defining factor of any culture. Meaning, we should be able to support a diverse culture but it should not be 'front and center' as to why the culture exists. What should be front and center is unity with the ability to support diversity.

The diverse culture needs to assimilate to the parent culture. Like if you go to France and demand everyone speak English, no, it's your job to speak French.
