But a society that allows introverts to avoid interaction is unhealthy.

mouse utopia showed us this

2019-08-24 05:37:11 UTC

Introversion is a mental illness.

2019-08-24 05:37:24 UTC

introversion is a result

2019-08-24 05:37:31 UTC

We might be using different definitions of introversion.

2019-08-24 05:37:38 UTC

let's ask our moms

2019-08-24 05:37:44 UTC

lolol

2019-08-24 05:37:54 UTC

mouse utopia shows what our system creates

2019-08-24 05:37:57 UTC

Can either or both of you explain what you mean by it? Hi poke.

2019-08-24 05:38:39 UTC

Introvert is like the coolest snowboard/skateboard tricks on a ramp that show you don't need no girlfriend

2019-08-24 05:38:49 UTC

Spiel: I don't know about you, but having a mental condition that makes you mentally and physically drained when interacting with others of your own social species - resulting in a debilitating hinderance to everyday life is a mental disorder, and not a mere personality type.

mouse utopia showed what modern civ will create

2019-08-24 05:39:00 UTC

I know about mouse utopia, I'm asking what your definition of introversion is.

2019-08-24 05:39:01 UTC

hampshire 2020

2019-08-24 05:39:19 UTC

@[DGI]tech that's not really how it is.

2019-08-24 05:39:48 UTC

hi unceph

2019-08-24 05:39:51 UTC

mouse utopia showed that animals will basically stop acting like social creatures under the wrong conditions

2019-08-24 05:40:05 UTC

stop being social

2019-08-24 05:40:10 UTC

I found that too in my own experiments

2019-08-24 05:40:11 UTC

stop taking care of the young

2019-08-24 05:40:21 UTC

stop trying to live

2019-08-24 05:40:21 UTC

Sure, if you become avoidant, it's a disorder, but the same could be said about extreme extroverts who can't stand ever being alone.

2019-08-24 05:40:27 UTC

Mice stopped acting like social creatures after I killed them

2019-08-24 05:40:47 UTC

bong conditions

2019-08-24 05:40:51 UTC

amirite

2019-08-24 05:41:21 UTC

Agreed. It is a fine balance, but how I see it the culture of today has been force fed into a box of introversion and it's negatively impacted multiple avenues.

2019-08-24 05:41:39 UTC

@Deleted User Great name for a parody Shark Attack movie

2019-08-24 05:41:41 UTC

Either trait taken to its extreme is disordered, but a person is not unhealthy because they prefer small, quiet gatherings with friends over loud parties, or because they find solitude refreshing. That's what I mean by introversion.

2019-08-24 05:42:19 UTC

So selective extroversion.

2019-08-24 05:42:28 UTC

I don't see a major issue with that.

2019-08-24 05:42:40 UTC

I see the extremes to be more prevalent as time goes on, however.

2019-08-24 05:42:46 UTC

That's what normal introversion *is*.

2019-08-24 05:43:07 UTC
