Agreed. It is a fine balance, but how I see it the culture of today has been force fed into a box of introversion and it's negatively impacted multiple avenues.
Either trait taken to its extreme is disordered, but a person is not unhealthy because they prefer small, quiet gatherings with friends over loud parties, or because they find solitude refreshing. That's what I mean by introversion.
Our current culture is unhealthy in both directions. Club/hookup/Tinder culture is extroversion given way too much leeway and hikikomori/incel/basement nerd culture is introversion left unchecked
Point is, the two personality types have been allowed--maybe encouraged--to set up separate societies instead of mixing normally like they would in a healthy culture.
