Moats dont have to be filled with water

2019-09-02 04:27:54 UTC

@Putz that’s literally every yard in rural Alabama. lol

2019-09-02 04:27:55 UTC

But spikes are an option

2019-09-02 04:28:14 UTC

scorpions and rattlesnakes?

2019-09-02 04:29:15 UTC

Keep the moat filled with black single mothers. You’ll never get robbed

2019-09-02 04:29:17 UTC

Lol

2019-09-02 04:29:54 UTC

Or some liquid that won't evaporate...I dunno...

2019-09-02 04:30:07 UTC

Oh come on that was funny.

2019-09-02 04:30:16 UTC

Lol

2019-09-02 04:30:27 UTC

Oobleck

2019-09-02 04:30:29 UTC

Lol

2019-09-02 04:31:04 UTC

we went "xeroscape" about 8 years ago, i.e. i shut off the drip system and decided only the things that survived were worth keeping

2019-09-02 04:31:21 UTC

which was basically a bird of paradise and like 4 trees, lol

2019-09-02 04:31:40 UTC

Or a water filled moat with a thin layer of plastic over it. It will break if someone tries to cross but otherwise will hold on the water from evaporation

2019-09-02 04:31:53 UTC

drip systems are to much maintenance, fn rabits eat the heads off of them to get the water

2019-09-02 04:32:19 UTC

That’s interesting.

2019-09-02 04:32:27 UTC

Oobleck man

2019-09-02 04:32:31 UTC

I’ve never tried drip irrigation

2019-09-02 04:32:39 UTC

Oobleck doesnt dry up?

2019-09-02 04:32:58 UTC

Probably does it is water but its funny to watch people try and walk on it

2019-09-02 04:33:13 UTC

Maybe use quicksand pits lol

2019-09-02 04:33:22 UTC

drip is the only way to reasonably do it here, sprinklers loose way to much to evaporation

2019-09-02 04:33:29 UTC

A pit full of Ben Shapiro

2019-09-02 04:34:17 UTC

No wait. That one chick from USA soccer team

2019-09-02 04:34:38 UTC

Yeah. Drip irrigation is actually more common in Alabama than you think. I see it used in nearly all commercial landscapes

2019-09-02 04:34:57 UTC

Haha, i'll definitely avoid any pit with (culturally sensitive term for unattractive women who prefer the company of other women) in it

2019-09-02 04:34:58 UTC

I sort of want to play with it.

2019-09-02 04:35:03 UTC

^vegas yards look like that, but with no cactus

2019-09-02 04:49:56 UTC

its great you do yard work like once or twice a year

2019-09-02 05:10:10 UTC

i'd still doubt that's zeroscape, pretty dense, that would not survive in my yard without watering

2019-09-02 05:11:25 UTC

@Clive my lawn looks like gravel lol.

2019-09-02 05:11:55 UTC

I have a couple of oleander bushes and three saguaro cactus too.

2019-09-02 05:12:29 UTC

Up until last week I had a bunch of weeds since it's the monsoon right now but I got the weed whacker out and knocked them down.
