Is there even a republican running?
yes
Oh okay. I had just assumed that the district in question was blue enough that what's his name probably would have died in office if not for being primaried.
This election sounds far more interesting than I realized.
plus...crowley is still on the ballot
I mean, I don't have any actual trust that she will keep her promise to not take donor funds, but it would be glorious to see her win and become a completely ineffectual, one term representative because of her ideals.
Oh, I promise that she's already taken corporate donations
it's just not in the form of cash, so she doesn't think it counts
an appearence on Colbert is equal to something like 2-5 million in campaign donation
Unreal I can't believe this is my party.
Is there anywhere where we can see who voted to remove the amendment? I need to see if I should vote out my representative
yes, let me see if I can find it for you. I linked the site in one of my videos
it's actually right on the front page right now...third item
bookmark that first link, it's really handy
looks like the killer was no votes, not necessarily out of party votes
oh nice... another shooting... https://www.miamiherald.com/news/state/florida/article217365830.html wish the asshole would have just shot himself and be done with it -_-
You should see IGN's comment section under their article about the event. Utter cancer; the top comment (at 100+ likes) refers to a 200+ year old outdated document that should go...
Almost went full Blonde, zero to execution on their asses
Where to even begin
Is that the group that compiles the same stats that Nanny Bloomberg uses?
Because if so, one of their 'mass shootings' is an event where a BB gun was fired at an empty schoolbus and broke a window.
That seems like a fine place to start.
Wouldn't surprise me.
I'm considering making a video on this. I need to do some number crunching 1st
Hahahaha
Wasn't it EveryTown that came out with those statistics?
it is, and that explains the skew/misrepresentation of the numbers
Yeah, I read the list when it came out after the Parkland shooting.
Reads like a comedy routine!
Defensive use can never be accurately recorded...they're only using the statistic of how many defensive uses resulted in an injury
that doesn't accountfor the number of times someone in a ski mask goes to rob a convenience store, and the guy in line lifts his jacket and says "you don't want to do that, friend"
Maybe not accurately but if the CDC has stats on how up to 3m gun uses are reported in a defensive manner we at least see the valid reason of having a gun.
right, but that doesn't fit Everytown's narrative
Clearly not.
