@grant to be fair, we do need to start moving away from oil use for transportation. Over the next few years, dozens of electric vehicle models will be released and that should spark more sales in the public. By that time Tesla may even be producing affordable cars (who knows). I don’t agree with the logic in the case, but ultimately that pipeline will become a stranded asset.

To me this is more of a principle thing. We'll move away from coal because its not as good. Not because the government or a judge says I don't like it. If they can do this to coal or oil they can do it to anything.

These people will literally sob over climate change. You have to agree with their narrow view on climate change. It may get more extreme. The antinuclear ideology is already very strong.
