What's the context? I think that devil may cry, right? Was there something that happened with their game?
^I don't play that series so I don't know.
Loooooool
DmC DMC was a painful westernized reboot
With really bad writing, some cool visual design, and broken combat
One of the more unforgiveable sins of the game, from my perspective, is that it mocked the setting and premise of the original series while being just as absurd and ridiculous when it wasn't actually emulating the story beats.
It just replaced the cheesiness of the originals with edgyness.
Much of the plot is genuinely asspulled
Basically every neat thing about the game is visual and all the gameplay stuff they're tying to change ends up being for the worse with like 2 QoL exceptions
Hey now Homelessness is racist....https://patch.com/california/los-angeles/racism-factor-las-homeless-epidemic-report
By that reasoning, homelessness is misandry too. I doubt that will be talked about.
Reading it now....
The actually report not the article...
ever wonder why there's so much racism in these Democrat strongholds? 🤔
*almonds activated*
i glanced at the actual report its specifically put together to make the case for black homeless people
The basics of the report......They did a survey of just the race of the homeless and found 33% are black....so must be racism.....1% are Asian is that racism too? I wonder...
if i remember correctly, 75% of homeless people are men
Around that.
we need 50/50 representation for the whamxn
the future of hate is diverse
patriarchy even in homelessness
this truly is the handmaid's tale
Nothing in here about drug use. Educational level....you think those might be important
It must be those right wingers in los angeles running the government
some might even call them nazis
surely not i...but some people
Is that report stating that racism is the cause of their homelessness? Or they are racist because of being homeless.
There are so many black homeless because of racism.
its the disparate outcomes means there is systemic racism (the p +p = r stuff)
@grant I know why they think that grant, i was just wondering which way they were putting it.
As someone who lived in the LA area, its probably a report to get the city to funnel money to one of their crony groups.
The kind that support people like Maxine waters
"LAHSA is also committed to infusing the use of a racial equity lens throughout all aspects of the organization’s work, in alignment with the recommendations of this Committee. As a key first step in this endeavor, we are establishing a racial equity initiative within the organization. This ongoing initiative will focus both on ensuring equity in the agency’s hiring and contracting practices, and on fostering the use of a racial equity lens in all aspects of the organization’s work."
^maybe that answers your question. 🤷
some more from the report:
"On Racism, Discrimination, and Dismantling Racism Institutionalized RacismThe country is set up in a way that doesn’t support the Black community or the advancement of the Black community. The system oppresses people of color. There is a difference between wanting to help Caucasian people experiencing homelessness and Black people. White people are prioritized over others.Institutional racism is how the county is set up. There is no support for the advancement of Black people. It is a tool to continue to oppress Black people."
"Discrimination I have gone to see an apartment after one of my White peers went, and I was told I would have to pay a higher rent.We need to understand the legacy of racism and its impact on society today. Need to understand how redlining pushed Blacks into South Central Los Angeles and how there is no accumulation of wealth. We experience macroaggressions from a lot of these service providers, and they are quick to use our housing against us."
they used the word microaggression^
^Also the agency that issued that report is publicly funded
