It’s natural for most men though
Most women are different
Complimentarianism is correct
I don't think corporate america is natural for most men. Yes men are competitive, but the corporate structure of wall street today is pretty new as far as social higherarchies are concerned.
Aerospace is pretty inflexible. When they have a big project deadline coming up the engineers work long hours. one person saying too bad i need flexible hours could bring the project to a halt or severely slow the operation down costing lots of money. Aerospace is just one industry I am familiar with, but there are many others by their nature cannot be flexible. If a type person needs hours to be flexible, maybe those professions aren't for you. Flexible hours should be seen as a perk and therefore a reason why you get paid less.
This appears to be the court document for Vic Mignogna's defamation case
reading through it, it's... pretty fucking insane
The complaints against him that got him fired seemed really flimsy. Is this related to that?
yes
apparently the main claim that Monica had brought against him internally (or at least that Sony was investigating at the time) was that, 6 years ago, Monica signed her name on a jelly bean, and gave it to Vic, who ate it and joked that he "ate Monica"
that's.... it
the other 2 claims Sony was investigating were supposed "inappropriate conduct" with 2 unnamed fans (which seems suuuuuper flimsy, since there's no evidence that there WAS any such conduct and Vic denies it completely) and a consensual kiss between Vic and a female friend
then Jamie, Monica, and Monica's fiance went ballistic on twitter and started the kickvic hashtag
Hej Monika
Seems like they really jumped the gun on that. If he had been terminated from Funimation, RWBY, etc without the social media witch-hunt, nobody would have really scrutinized it this much
you guys should check out rekieta law he does a legal breakdown on the matter

where tf do we post memes?
I think I did see his comments on Twitter. I almost couldn't believe that was all they could dig up
Memes are usually in <#266396659062145025> I guess
ha
Haberkorn opening the stream is great
I don't know whether to be mad at Babylon Bee for writing such believable satire, or to be mad at His Hereticness for being the kind of douche that makes this believable.

*"New Mexico militia detains migrants at gunpoint until Border Patrol arrives: report"*
Not seeing anything here to object to.
IT'S KIDNAPPING!!! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
/s
@Mandatory Carry The problem is a lack of a wall and a more beefed up border patrol.
@grant
Ya, that too.
don't go to concordia. but i didn't have to tell you that even before this incident 😉
I must find what these people are smoking and get some https://www.latimes.com/science/sciencenow/la-sci-flying-cars-climate-change-emissions-20190410-story.html
umm...I'm not so sure about that
"on longer trips"
probably has to be a pretty long trip, but I could see that an aircraft at cruising speed could be fairly efficient. All that energy spent getting to altitude is the problem with that
Yeah, I get what they mean but it seems like an aircraft carrying multiple people wouldn't be less efficient than a bunch of small ones

In the US atleast, i think there is much more to be gained from automated cars coordinating through a central system to optimize routes and driving speeds, even removing traffic congestion, over acceleration, and breaking should have huge environmental impacts amd its an idea thats far less drastic
Plus flying cars is a stale subject. Weve been promised them forever. Even if they get on working tomorrow we are decades away from it being affordable and the legal system of control are established for wide use
I've seen how Americans drive. I sure as hell wouldn't trust them in a non-automated flying car.
Americans drive great, try driving in thailand where the fine for driving on the wrong side of the road is the same as riding a motorcycle without a helmet
