what makes tin t2 cable bad, its solder job and connector? tbh i do not even know how should cable look or feel like because i m such audiopleb
@ππππ π£π my issue with it is that you can hear when you rub against stuff
ah,i know what you mean microphonics.that is some real issue. Because i m going to use it mostly inside while sitting at computer it is kinda ok with me.
do you somehow clip the cable to your jacket to reduce movement?
its kinda grippy, the actual y-splitter and jack are unnecessarily large, also it doesnt really have an ear-hook shape so it kinda falls out of my ears when i wear them over-ear
also the jack has no thread-locker
@ππππ π£π technically that's not microphonics
the cable tangles super easy
and the jack is fucking YUGE
oh
it looks incredibly autistic
the cables supposed to be bad for the t2?
I replaced it within a week
should i get more?
fuck
its fine
i bought a cheap $3 cable and use that currently for iems on my computer, and a bt cable for t2
When wind breaks the mmcx connectors on his iems because he was too cheap to buy more than 1 $3 mmcx cable
Mmcx isnβt designed for constant detachment and reattachment <:pepestressed:327933525124841482>
I'm looking for 2 earphones. Bluetooth based for use in the gym and normal wired ones. I saw the KZ ATES can be swapped with a Bluetooth cord and a wired one. Will the MMCX connectors hold if I keep swapping between the two
and swapping mmcx cables a lot is not recommended
Oh that's sad. Any wireless alternative that have decent sweat resistance?
Buy a pair of some other kzs with a 2 pin and get a kz Bluetooth cable, and then get a separate pair of good earphones for normal use @apolea
Kz zs3 is cheap and has 2 pin
Pin cables look like that might fall out, why not normal mmcx?
>buy kz
How about no?
^
Don't buy kz
2 pin will always be superior
How?
Mmcx holds fucking well, what more do you need?
it breaks stupidly easy
which is terrible for what he wants to do with it
the whole mmcx connector has to flex for it to click in and out
Really? It seems sturdier than pin just looking at it
versus 2 pin which is just 2 springed contacts clamping down on a pin
Hmm
2 pin is recessed with a plastic body so you cant really munt it
unless you bend it when its out of the socket
