2018-09-02 00:08:51 UTC

i cant wait for my 2nd t2 to come in so i can have a 2nd useless ((silver)) cable

2018-09-02 00:09:07 UTC

i wonder if i can change the jack and upsell it for a nigillion dollars

you sure can,but i've figured out this genius plan:

combine those 2 cables

mindblown?

2018-09-02 00:17:24 UTC

@Droidbot got a better one to recommend

2018-09-02 00:17:25 UTC

?

2018-09-02 00:21:17 UTC

@floral any cheap mmcx

2018-09-02 00:34:09 UTC

the $2-$3 mmcx cable

2018-09-02 00:34:13 UTC

i use that on my gr07 <:alismirk:230784726615588865>

what makes tin t2 cable bad, its solder job and connector? tbh i do not even know how should cable look or feel like because i m such audiopleb

2018-09-02 00:51:31 UTC

@π•„π•šπ••π• π•£π•š my issue with it is that you can hear when you rub against stuff

ah,i know what you mean microphonics.that is some real issue. Because i m going to use it mostly inside while sitting at computer it is kinda ok with me.

do you somehow clip the cable to your jacket to reduce movement?

2018-09-02 01:05:32 UTC

its kinda grippy, the actual y-splitter and jack are unnecessarily large, also it doesnt really have an ear-hook shape so it kinda falls out of my ears when i wear them over-ear

2018-09-02 01:05:43 UTC

also the jack has no thread-locker

2018-09-02 01:06:46 UTC

@π•„π•šπ••π• π•£π•š technically that's not microphonics

2018-09-02 01:39:45 UTC

the cable tangles super easy

2018-09-02 01:39:52 UTC

and the jack is fucking YUGE

2018-09-02 01:40:17 UTC

oh

2018-09-02 01:40:21 UTC

it looks incredibly autistic

2018-09-02 01:40:23 UTC

the cables supposed to be bad for the t2?

2018-09-02 01:40:28 UTC

I replaced it within a week

2018-09-02 01:40:29 UTC

should i get more?

2018-09-02 01:40:32 UTC

fuck

2018-09-02 01:50:04 UTC

its fine

2018-09-02 01:53:09 UTC

i bought a cheap $3 cable and use that currently for iems on my computer, and a bt cable for t2

When wind breaks the mmcx connectors on his iems because he was too cheap to buy more than 1 $3 mmcx cable

Mmcx isn’t designed for constant detachment and reattachment <:pepestressed:327933525124841482>

2018-09-02 07:43:37 UTC

I'm looking for 2 earphones. Bluetooth based for use in the gym and normal wired ones. I saw the KZ ATES can be swapped with a Bluetooth cord and a wired one. Will the MMCX connectors hold if I keep swapping between the two

2018-09-02 07:45:11 UTC

ATE doesnt have a removable cable

2018-09-02 07:45:24 UTC

and swapping mmcx cables a lot is not recommended

2018-09-02 07:46:07 UTC

Oh that's sad. Any wireless alternative that have decent sweat resistance?

2018-09-02 07:49:01 UTC

Buy a pair of some other kzs with a 2 pin and get a kz Bluetooth cable, and then get a separate pair of good earphones for normal use @apolea

2018-09-02 07:51:15 UTC

Kz zs3 is cheap and has 2 pin

2018-09-02 07:53:22 UTC

Pin cables look like that might fall out, why not normal mmcx?

2018-09-02 08:00:19 UTC

>buy kz
How about no?

2018-09-02 08:00:54 UTC

^

2018-09-02 08:01:00 UTC

Don't buy kz

2018-09-02 08:09:58 UTC

@Millwood mmcx is dogshit
