2. Propositions is an entity/object that exists. (Premise 2)
3. Propositions are neither material nor mental. (Premise 3)
4. Therefore, there is an entity/object that exists which is neither material nor mental (Conclusion 1 from premise 2 and 3)
5. Therefore, a realm exists which is neither physical nor mental in which propositions reside. (Conclusion 2 from conclusion 1 and premise 1)
Argument for the third premise
1. Material objects are objects that have different spatial parts in different locations and can be described as extending through space. (Premise 1)
2. Propositions are objects that don’t have different spatial parts in different locations, and they cannot be described as extending through space. (Premise 2)
3. Therefore, Propositions are not material objects. (Conclusion from premise 1 and 2).
1. Mental objects are non-material objects that are bore by minds and are contingent upon the existence of minds. (premise 1)
2. Propositions can only be true if they exist. (premise 2)
3. Logically valid propositions like “all bachelors are unmarried” are necessarily true (premise 3)
4. Therefore, propositions can only be contingently true (and not necessarily true), if propositions are mental objects. (Conclusion 1 from premise 1, and 2)
5. Therefore, propositions are not mental objects (Conclusion 2 from conclusion 1 and premise 3)
