This, by itself, is worth three rants (ok, 2 and an *"threat assessment"*);
One, as HLS, discussing only the facts *and why it was possible.* Indeed, I've kind of written the essay in my head and dismissed the *"issue"* of the fence with the assumption (admittedly sans evidence) that the fence was not "so inferior" that it would be shocking to the conscious. There are other alleged ladpses not mentioned in the article that should be addressed.
Second is MandatoryCarry; That this *"could"* happen, cut fence or no, proves once again that gun control simply doesn't work (I addressed this at the time).
But the third is a little different; The third is the terrror implications that this coukd occur. Not *"did"* but conceivably *"could."* We've known this for decades, there is simply no excuse to pretend otherwise by now.
