Doesn't really tangle for me, sometimes it gets a twist down the middle after rolling them up in my pocket but hanging then around my neck straightens them

2018-09-20 15:21:43 UTC

lmfao they sound the same

```I don’t like or enjoy the Chord Hugo 2 because of all the bad traits of audiophilia that it manifests. Neither its controls nor sound feel like they were designed for humans. It’s like Chord’s engineers forgot what a headphone amplifier and DAC is supposed to be, namely a tool for pumping sweet tunes into people’s craniums. So they built a soulless perfectionist’s idea of an audio reproduction machine, neglecting to hear it for themselves. The Hugo 2 is technically impressive, and its crystalline sound gives glimpses into detail that other DACs can’t match, but in the end, it’s just too cold and inhuman. With enthusiast products like this, precision means nothing without pleasure.
2018-09-20 16:53:55 UTC
Not really. I turn my amp off when I'm not using it.
2018-09-20 21:22:09 UTC
@bentech stuff with a warmup period could be left on I guess
2018-09-20 21:22:30 UTC
Tho that's more just because it can sound like shit before it warms up
2018-09-20 21:23:03 UTC
accidentally blow up headphones ;)
2018-09-20 21:23:10 UTC
For most gear you should turn it off when not in use unless you just wanna replace caps more often
2018-09-20 21:23:42 UTC
Tho these days caps last forever
2018-09-20 21:23:43 UTC
@𝕄𝕚𝕕𝕠𝕣𝕚 put T2 Pros on and use tape to seal your ears
2018-09-20 21:23:57 UTC
Boost everything you can
2018-09-20 21:24:42 UTC
Then search for a bass boosted™ compilation on youtube
2018-09-20 21:24:48 UTC
Download the video
2018-09-20 21:24:52 UTC
Convert it to flac
2018-09-20 21:24:52 UTC
Probably from when components sucked and had a quite specific optimal operating temperature
2018-09-20 21:24:56 UTC
And enjoy pure bass sounds
2018-09-20 21:24:58 UTC
pain to turn things off
2018-09-20 21:26:10 UTC
yeah,i mean i got my mic in my mic amp 24/7 , can not quite imagine manually turning it off every time i go sleep
2018-09-20 21:26:18 UTC
```With the top end Naim amps it needs days or even weeks of being left on (and used) for it to sound at their best, all that final few % of fidelity and sound quality we pay ££££ would fail to show itself from frequent power on / power off.

We simply just need to accept that top of the line luxury equipment isn't like owning a kettle, that few extra quid a month on Electricity bills is just part and parcel of having big boy's gear.
```
2018-09-20 21:26:21 UTC
