It seems like an old meme to keep saying this, but it is worth noting that Nazi was an acronym for national socialist.

I know, which is what makes the alt-right actual nazies (except they're not german or neccesarily part of a worker's party)

The socialist sympathizers that love to call people on the right "Nazis" love to use that line, saying that the German worker's party was just socialist to gain supporters. What they don't realize is that it was a political movement that focused on the government takeover of all private industry, just like Sanders style Democratic Socialism. But instead of government seizure to take the means of production away from the wealthy, the German equivalency was intent on protecting the Nationals from losing jobs and opportunities from the Jewish immigrants
