They wouldn't have to, because most of the military would probably side with the civilians, because they are gun owners too.
We keep saying that, but I remain skeptical that the military would be unwilling to drone-strike us like any other asymmetrical force they've fought before
Drone striking your own civilians is giving up the ghost anyway, I have to imagine some will do the striking sure, but also a lot will defect
Most active military personnel know they are bound to the constitution above orders from their command. If command says "screw the 2nd, we're confiscating guns" they are obligated to relieve those officers of command
I'm actually surprised how many sjw types are in the military. I know of several
I think it's about the benefits with them, which I kind of get but I don't trust them with government power

I know a some military personal that mainly come from non seen combat that are xtremely anti 2a (3 marines to be specific)
They constantly drivel out the MSM talk of "why do you need the gun i trained on?" "Any gun that can be converted to full auto should be banned" stupid shit like that
