What was his distinction?
"Douglas MUNRO" huh. I wonder if I'm related to that guy. It's not a common spelling...
@Ya Dare Hey
*"(G)ood war and a necessary war..."*
I have to admit, I've never heard it either... And you'd *THINK* I would have, with my degree...

@Mandatory Carry ‘There is no such thing as a good War, but that one needed to be fought’, is what the guy said. It echos something that I’ve thought for a while, and something that I’ve heard put a variety of ways. Summed up: War is a vile thing that should only be used in case of last resort. Therefore, you should be damn sure you’ve done all you could to prevent it before making a call to arms.
@Mandatory Carry I’m sure you could teach me a whole lot more than I could ever hope to teach you, but the minute we stop learning should be the minute they prepare to put us 6’ under
@Ya Dare Hey
No, no... I appreciate that. Thank you.
@Ya Dare Hey Are you familiar with Just War Theory?
@yuma_8 Only enough to know that what I just said was a basic summary of it
@yuma_8
¿That the one where you go to thier border, hold out a petition saying *"If you don't meet us in 3 days, then we declare war,"* then in three days you declare war?
@Mandatory Carry Nah it’s books from old dead guys
🤣
5 seconds until Ben Shapiro mentions anti semitism on todays podcast. I cant rememeber a single episode in which he hasnt mentioned anti semitism or anti semites. Every 👏 Single 👏 Day 👏
The sctick!
Did you guys hear that Castro used some box he could stand on during the debate?
two women used them too, but he used a bigger one

Ya'll know what's funny? I'm agnostic My wife is LDS, and every time we move the bishop of the local congregation always calls me to teach Sunday school.
Ive got no problems teaching the class, I'm pretty damn good at it. I just find it ironic.
He's doing it proactively in a wink-wink-nudge-nudge manner
😉
Although I will say I am surprised at how many people aren't single on the server oh, I would have expected less married people
*TmwNotPartOfTheCoolMarriedCrowd*
@Clive it's funny I guess they could all be doing that. Either way, it seems like a perfect role for a religious sit com.
Moving up into the married league is a step up, but then you face off against the parent league, and the competition steps up
One day you make it to the grandparent league, and you're work is truly tested.
That's when you're work is truly measured, as the product you created is creating its own people, and whether or not you did a good job really shows.

Well I'm married and we have a 5 month old. So I dont get much sleep, hows that for victim status lol
@DJ_Anuz I'd watch that. My dad is a pastor I was raised in a variety of churches in different states
True.
I should enjoy my youth while I can, and keep pushing my career to its limits before settling.
Youth is for wasting
*oof*
Tell that to John Keats.
>Greatest English romantic era poet
>Dead at 25
Died before he sold out man
youth is for learning
its the only time in life where major mistakes don't follow forever
you waste that time, you lose
My intention is to continue my IT certification studies, and I have an opportunity lined up that I have an extremely high chance of receiving. I'm hoping to use that to improve, and at some point expand my reach and settle down after I've accomplished my major educational goals.
this idea to get all of your worldly accomplishments before starting a family is why westerners aren't having kids
