To all, I'm looking for some suggestions of one player video games that focus on story. I'm thinking like God of War and Spider-Man or indie games like Hollow Knight. Does anyone have any suggestions along these lines?

Metro is a good choice. I've also had a lot of fun with Dishonored and Assassin's Creed 2

Who is excited for classic wow?

Should be fun, I'm currently on a Vanilla server that's been modded. It has cool things like Survival (where you can build tents that give rested XP), Planes Running, two hearths and more. https://turtle-wow.org/

When you start, they give you a mount whos speed scales with your level. At 40 when you train riding the speeds much faster but at least its something. Like if you are level 20 it will give you 110% mounted speed

I was just impressed to see pepe memes from large streamers in wow. For a moment I thought only far left activist played wow based on my failure rate of getting into a guild.

There are a bunch, you just have to avoid them, lol. Was playing with this person I though was just a regular nice person, we were helping this asshat on a quest (we didn't know he was an asshat when we offered to help). Anyway by the end she was so pissed off at him she said to me "He made my list, I'm writing his name in my notebook. Everyone needs to keep a list".

It's true. I was just happy to see a steamer with an American flag behind him (Staysafe). He along with the not super pc asmondgold will be on the faerlina server in classic. Maybe I will find some decent people on that server to.

@Clive if you're more into fighting games a-la god of war, you might be interested in Arkham City or Shadow of Mordor, if you haven't played those

I've played Arkham 1 and 2 and shadow of mordor 1

for games with good writing/narratives: Divinity Original Sin 2, Breath of Fire 3, NIER Automata, Fallout 1/2/New Vegas, Deus Ex, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, honestly Hotline Miami is kind of neat narratively

Oh, Gunslinger was a fun unreliable narrator story, Shadowrun Dragonfall and Hong Kong are 👌🏻 , World in Conflict has a fun campaign mode with a neat little alt history story

Yakuza is a crime drama as a game series

heard good things about DOS2 and Nier. Not sure what I'm gonna get next tbh

With out being heavy handed about it

They still had racist tropes, only in HZD, the divisions were based on tribal ownership rather than genetic similarities.
