I feel like the left tend to make list more often though....

2019-08-17 21:47:25 UTC

Exactly, she was a SJW leftist

2019-08-17 21:59:41 UTC

It's true. I was just happy to see a steamer with an American flag behind him (Staysafe). He along with the not super pc asmondgold will be on the faerlina server in classic. Maybe I will find some decent people on that server to.

2019-08-17 22:03:21 UTC

I played Detroit becoming human which was good.

2019-08-17 22:03:41 UTC

Not a fan of AC, I've played 1 2 and the London one

2019-08-17 22:30:28 UTC

@[DGI]tech do you mean Metro Exodus and First Light?

2019-08-17 23:03:50 UTC

No. Metro 2033, Last Light, and then Exodus.

2019-08-17 23:30:30 UTC

Derp

2019-08-17 23:30:53 UTC

I'm generally not a fan of FPS but I loved borderlands and bioshock

2019-08-18 00:16:15 UTC

@Clive if you're more into fighting games a-la god of war, you might be interested in Arkham City or Shadow of Mordor, if you haven't played those

2019-08-18 01:07:43 UTC

I've played Arkham 1 and 2 and shadow of mordor 1

for games with good writing/narratives: Divinity Original Sin 2, Breath of Fire 3, NIER Automata, Fallout 1/2/New Vegas, Deus Ex, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, honestly Hotline Miami is kind of neat narratively

2019-08-18 03:08:01 UTC

Oh, Gunslinger was a fun unreliable narrator story, Shadowrun Dragonfall and Hong Kong are 👌🏻 , World in Conflict has a fun campaign mode with a neat little alt history story

2019-08-18 03:08:15 UTC

Yakuza is a crime drama as a game series

2019-08-18 03:24:19 UTC

heard good things about DOS2 and Nier. Not sure what I'm gonna get next tbh

2019-08-18 03:24:32 UTC

But thanks all for the suggestions !

2019-08-18 03:25:40 UTC

Horizon zero Dawn is probably my favorite science fiction game I've ever played.

2019-08-18 03:26:05 UTC

I LOVED HZd

2019-08-18 03:26:08 UTC

So much

2019-08-18 03:26:22 UTC

I only have ps4 so that limited my options

2019-08-18 03:27:05 UTC

HZD did diversity of race actually pretty well imo

2019-08-18 03:27:12 UTC

With out being heavy handed about it

2019-08-18 04:00:23 UTC

They still had racist tropes, only in HZD, the divisions were based on tribal ownership rather than genetic similarities.

Which makes sense since... Well spoilers...

2019-08-18 04:01:54 UTC

I'll just say, Halsey and the other Alpha's would have wanted to re-create a world where racial division wouldn't exist.

2019-08-18 04:03:27 UTC

So combining the races at birth makes sense.

2019-08-18 06:07:48 UTC

assuming all the races interbred, what would the result look like?

2019-08-18 06:39:53 UTC

just finisihed Katana Zero and while it's short I'd throw it in as a decent narrative game as well

2019-08-18 06:40:47 UTC

does some of the same things Hotline Miami does wrt fucking with the player and using the protagonist as an unreliable POV

2019-08-18 06:43:55 UTC

Good list. Do you have a favorite indie title?

2019-08-18 08:21:50 UTC

Just to add on to what Beeman said, Katana Zero is amazing.

2019-08-18 13:00:15 UTC

@Clive probably what you see until a bunch of generations pass. Interestingly the Nora and Banuk are the only tribes that weren't mostly homogenous. The Carja were mostly Asian, while the Osarom seemed Spanish and Caucasian.

Perhaps thats because most all tribes in the game area originated from the Nora lands, so those that left the Nora lands to become Carja and Ossarom had smaller Gene pools that were quicker to homogenize.

2019-08-18 13:09:51 UTC

@RoadtoDawn hollow knight definitely. Looking forward to the sequel. Owlboy too

2019-08-18 13:10:14 UTC

@DJ_Anuz I meant irl lol

2019-08-18 15:35:14 UTC

@Clive eventually they would become one race unless they split into different tribes.

2019-08-18 16:23:51 UTC

Hollow Knight is definitely one of the best indies out on the market, as long as you like Metroid

2019-08-18 18:12:28 UTC

Metroidvania is something I've loved more as time goes on

2019-08-18 22:44:09 UTC

Something I think is kinda odd is that despite the first half of the genre name referencing a sci-fi game, there aren't really that many sci-fi metroidvanias, are there?

2019-08-18 23:09:07 UTC

Metroid obvi. Axiom Verge is like metroid but trippy

2019-08-19 04:07:08 UTC

Anyone play Kingdoms of Amalur?

2019-08-19 04:07:30 UTC

Not that far in the game but it seems pretty tight
