In AZ we can't buy or carry a handgun under 21 unless you have a job that requires it

I'm not sure on the 'own' vs 'buy' vs 'carry' distinction though.

In Indiana it’s legal for a family member to pass down a firearm to someone of legal age a.k.a. 18 years old. An 18-year-old can’t buy a handgun from a federally licensed firearms dealer but could buy one from a private seller
