If there is a rule that women have to bring a man to dance lessons, wouldn't there have to be a similar rule in place for men? Considering that if the only women that are allowed bring a man with them, there wouldn't be anyone to dance with a man that came alone either.

Out of an entire college you might find 5 guys that dance enough before college to do it semi pro.

Well this is more ballroom dancing, modern dance is kinda different. Everyone pretty much does the same thing regardless of gender.

tl;dr ballroom is two people dancing together, modern dance has a bunch of stuff lumped into it like cheerleading or the weird stuff you see at beauty pageants
