I think he makes a lot of false dichotomies, and sometimes he gets really nitpicky in an attempt to sort of steamroll the other person

I think what you are picking up on is if Crowder can sometimes be abrasive and over the top in the way he communicates. But that's because he has a comedy show and wants to keep his viewers engaged. LWC is not a news show, it's entertainment, opinion and comedy. I think he does a good job presenting his information albeit sometimes like someone experiencing a chronic manic state.

Thing I like about Crowder is he constantly makes that point clear as well ^

the amount of times he's said, "We're _not_ a news show, we present our opinions in a comedic way, but you _shouldn't_ look at us as your sole source of info"
