History was not enjoyable as a youth.

2019-09-01 23:51:50 UTC

but idk if it's going to be...I dunno, practical?

2019-09-01 23:52:36 UTC

I've always loved history, but I must say, even in a nation where national pride is a significant aim, most people aren't interested in history

2019-09-01 23:53:10 UTC

I think it has to be moved in there somehow

2019-09-01 23:53:18 UTC

but maybe through etymology etc.

2019-09-01 23:53:44 UTC

One thing I've sort of learned when learning languages is you can tell a lot about the culture backing the language by how it developed over time

2019-09-01 23:54:00 UTC

which words are formed from where, what was prioritized when standardizing it, etc.

2019-09-01 23:54:36 UTC

So if reading and writing in whichever language included bits of history in it, I reckon it would help

2019-09-01 23:55:11 UTC

Yep

2019-09-01 23:55:18 UTC

would be more effective too imo

@Legalize
Gay marriage, bearing high powered trebuchets, bastard swords, etc., I'm sure I can find more... If I look.
*"Really don't know why he thinks I am an authoritarian"*
Scroll up.

None of which helps me with my buckles problem, btw.

2019-09-02 00:05:43 UTC

@Legalize
*"What about gay marriage? Thats a myth, doesn't exist. Its a contradiction in terms as far as I am concerned."*
No, not authoritarian ***AT ALL.*** Just stripping rights from people because ***YOU*** don't like it.

2019-09-02 00:06:03 UTC

What about gay marriage?

2019-09-02 00:08:26 UTC

Correct.

2019-09-02 00:08:40 UTC

Granted, I don't trust the Government nor marriage in today's culture.

2019-09-02 00:09:06 UTC

A large majority don't hold marriage to the same standard that it once was.

2019-09-02 00:10:11 UTC

^^^

2019-09-02 00:14:25 UTC

@Legalize
*"and if it was its a right for those who are able to get married"*
But I'm the authoritarian... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

**"No, not authoritarian AT ALL. Just stripping rights from people because** YOU **don't like it, Susan."**
See, this would be *"Asked and answered."* Ask Travis, he should have a general understanding of courtroom proceedure.
