i'd be for that

2019-10-01 22:42:42 UTC

lol

2019-10-01 22:42:47 UTC

I would be on board for that.

2019-10-01 22:42:47 UTC

100%

2019-10-01 22:42:55 UTC

In fact, I'm pretty sure I've advocated for that before.

2019-10-01 22:42:59 UTC

LOL

2019-10-01 22:43:04 UTC

it sounds great

2019-10-01 22:43:17 UTC

@Louis Carlos Fer the govt can't prevent murder if it involves violating the civil liberties of a citizen, otherwise red flag laws would be the norm.

2019-10-01 22:43:46 UTC

And just like that, <#586033832277442590> became #agreement.

2019-10-01 22:43:57 UTC

Lol

2019-10-01 22:44:03 UTC

Bringing people together

2019-10-01 22:44:04 UTC

After all, if preventing murder trump's all other civil liberties, then the govt can violate those liberties under the assumption it's protecting life.

2019-10-01 22:44:57 UTC

No, that's completely different. You're talking about taking action against people who might commit murder

2019-10-01 22:45:07 UTC

i feel like that's pretty different

2019-10-01 22:45:11 UTC

I'm saying the government ought to make actually murdering prenatal infants illegal

2019-10-01 22:45:57 UTC

Your civil liberties don't include a convenient, easy life. They do include not being killed

2019-10-01 22:46:57 UTC

But what if keeping a prenatal infant violates the liberty of a woman?

And if you're really going to be consistent, then you also need to advocate banning the morning after pill.

2019-10-01 22:47:19 UTC

Why?

2019-10-01 22:47:28 UTC

It doesn't, DJ. And yeah sure, ban abortion pills

2019-10-01 22:47:30 UTC

The way I see it, a miscarriage isn't an issue

2019-10-01 22:47:49 UTC

The morning after pill sterilizes a fertalized egg.

2019-10-01 22:47:51 UTC

If the zygote is induced to not attach to the uteral wall it isn't an abortion

2019-10-01 22:48:06 UTC

You're still killing a distinct human life.

2019-10-01 22:48:16 UTC

Fertilization is the beginning of human life, gonna have to side with DJ on this one

2019-10-01 22:48:23 UTC

i vote DJ

2019-10-01 22:48:25 UTC

That's fair

2019-10-01 22:48:51 UTC

I just see the morning after pill as doesn't quite qualify, seeing as it more induces a miscarriage than an outright abortion

2019-10-01 22:48:58 UTC

Unless I'm totally wrong on how they work

2019-10-01 22:49:42 UTC

well it's still killing them

2019-10-01 22:49:43 UTC

It prevents a necessary step from taking place, rather than outright halting the whole process, right?

2019-10-01 22:49:43 UTC

?

2019-10-01 22:49:58 UTC

It would be like leaving an infant in a desert.

2019-10-01 22:50:06 UTC

Sure, you didn't kill the baby.

2019-10-01 22:50:07 UTC

It could easily be argued that an abortion is simply forcing a miscarriage later in the term

2019-10-01 22:50:11 UTC

But you let it die.

2019-10-01 22:50:14 UTC

yea i was gonna say its like preventing someone from eating

2019-10-01 23:01:08 UTC

@C1PHER Sorry late to the convo.
To answer your question about rape pregnancy:
The baby never chose to be the result of a rape; therefore shouldnt have to pay with its life for a crime it never asked to be the result of.
Execute the rapist.

2019-10-01 23:02:19 UTC

in all scenarios execute the rapist

2019-10-01 23:04:48 UTC

^

2019-10-01 23:04:49 UTC

Solidly that

2019-10-01 23:04:53 UTC

Additionally, if women actually took the proper procedures to report the rape immediatly after it occured instead of waiting several days/weeks/months/years, they wouldve been provided with Plan B to prevent the pregnancy and STD testing (this is standard procedure according to the Violence Against Womens Act, short VAWA) ontop of having a chance to get the rapist actually answering for their crime while there's actual evidence to be collected
