TBH my distaste for Owen Benjamin is why I first gave them a try. I thought the way Owen turned on Rogan, and Petersen, and pretty much everyone else, then started getting all buddy buddy with Vox Day, was epically shitty. He deserved a good trolling. Then I heard Royce start calling Crowder a LARPer, and Shapiro a Jew shill, and the rest is history.
Like I have 0 interest in either side of the israel thing, my thing is we should just leave the middle east in its entirety, if they want to blow each other up that should be none of our business
I'm not familiar enough with Rogan to know what you mean about that, but yeah, I do remember people asking Crowder why he didn't have Owen back when he came back from his hiatus, until Crowder finally explained that it was because Owen stopped taking his calls for no apparent reason.

bringbackisolationism
The whole problem I have with all the anti jew stuff is I don't see what the point is. Even if all the accusations were true, it's not like anyone is ever going to convince me that jews are worse than muslims, so it doesn't really matter.
And yeah, if you want to tell me that we should stop giving money to Israel I can't argue too hard with that, I think we ought to stop giving money to a whole bunch of places.
~~like, they showed they were quite capable of handling the middle east in the 6 days war~~
so how was the shitshow that was the debate with ROC?
asking for a friend
havent watched it yet
Its just a bunch of he said she said. ROC talks in circles
I watched some of it, very circular arguing
So, IMO, the two people most directly responsible for Owen Benjamin's career resurgence that took place over the last few years are Joe Rogan and Steven Crowder. Before I ever saw OB on Crowder's show, I heard Rogan talk about him on his Podcast. Rogan would describe OB as "one of the most underrated comics in the game right now." Then Rogan had him on his Podcast, and from then on, OB was able to do comedy full time again. Up to that point, OB's career had kind of dried up, and he had to work with his brother cutting down trees. Before all this OB was most famous for dating Cristina Ricci back in the early oughts.
After Rogan's podcast, I started seeing him on Crowder's show, then I started seeing his tour dates pop up. And boom everything was coming up Owen Benjamin. Then, he lost his fucking mind, called Rogan a thumb, Petersen a Wizard, and said Vox Day was an intellectual that he greatly respected...
Same, I would have never heard of him if not for Crowder.
To be fair...
What do you think the ratio is of people that watch him because they think he's right versus the number that watch because they think it's an entertaining shitshow?
He never threw Crowder under the bus.
I mean
I don't remember specifics, but I do remember him saying some shit.
I've seen a few clips from his streams where the Bears would try to get him to talk shit about Crowder, and OB would defend him. Say that if it wasn't for Crowder, he'd have never regained his faith in God, and all kinds of shit.
I did see one clip where Owen was fake laughing (looked to me like he was going to cry) about how Crowder broke up with him over his Flat Earth nonsense.
May be the same video you gusy are refering to.
As to the your question before Wolfman, I don't know. I would love to see that Venn Diagram though.
People who are actual Bears/People that watch Owen Benjamin/People that love a good shitshow
I liked the music, and the family talk, but I jumped ship after the conspiracy theories started up.
What, you don't think the Earth is flat?
Man, I'm tired of this flat earth. Everyone knows its triangle shape
kind of like a floating pyramid
It's windmill of friendship shaped.
@Unironic Ohio Supremecist gets it
Dude, I don't know why you guys haven't clued in to the reality of the Donut Earth. It's flat, round and hollow!
I stopped watching him after the whole "we didn't go to the moon" thing
I was watching (really, listening) the livestream and was sitting there thinking holy shit is this the real life
There's a video I always point people to when the moon landing issue comes up, and it's made by a filmmaker that goes into detail about how we didn't have the filmmaking technology to fake the live footage of the moon landing that people watched.
Oh okay, you mind DMing me a link mate?
I'll do you one better.
