It sounds like something happened to you psychologically that is worth delving into

2017-07-06 02:04:31 UTC

I agree. I'm in counseling partially over that.

2017-07-06 02:05:20 UTC

I keep trying to work up the nerve to go to Overeaters Anonymous

2017-07-06 02:05:44 UTC

Why would that be difficult for you?

2017-07-06 02:06:19 UTC

I just don't like being around people much and it sounds like they get into heavy stuff. I don't want to cry or anything like that

2017-07-06 02:06:51 UTC

what would you consider a good way of shaming people?

2017-07-06 02:07:31 UTC

I told myself what I would gain from losing weight and stuck to that/]

2017-07-06 02:08:00 UTC

Focus on whatever it is thats bothering you, whats fixable. Do they smell? Do they break stuff? Are they take too much space? Do you just not like looking at them?

2017-07-06 02:08:17 UTC

Look, the answer is to simply encourage a culture of good eating. Attacking people for their private lifestyle is not the way. That's why I don't like the "body positivity" thing. It misses the point, entirely.

2017-07-06 02:09:06 UTC

Encouraging a culture of good eating doesn't work though

2017-07-06 02:09:06 UTC

Personally, fat shaming caused me to lose weight to a degree but it's shitty to go through

2017-07-06 02:09:15 UTC

Oh I completely agree Pyre, the body positivity thing is bogus. That is unhealthy. I'm so glad I'm so averse to SJWism because that is going to screw with people's heads

2017-07-06 02:09:23 UTC

Maybe if you're their parent and can dictate to them but if that's all you do it will never change their ways

2017-07-06 02:09:46 UTC

"Shaming" can mean anything. I don't think it's good to be mercilessly cruel to people. But I don't think you should lie to people either and tell them that they are healthy and beautiful. Usually when people say 'fat shaming' they include anything that makes them feel negatively about themselves. But we can't protect people from reality.

2017-07-06 02:10:11 UTC

Nah, culture is stronger than laws. Make a culture of good eating and you've pushed the first domino.

2017-07-06 02:10:36 UTC

Why do you think the SJWs are doing this shit?

Whaaaaaa?

2017-07-06 02:10:56 UTC

Leveled Up?

2017-07-06 02:10:57 UTC

It's like I said on the call, if SJWs had their way they would leverage the government to protect fat people from having their feelings hurt.

2017-07-06 02:10:59 UTC

Yeah whats with the level up

2017-07-06 02:11:02 UTC

Culture is never stronger than laws, what???

2017-07-06 02:11:14 UTC

But i never advocated using laws, just to be clear

2017-07-06 02:11:37 UTC

I said culture is stronger.

2017-07-06 02:11:46 UTC

Right, what does that even mean?

2017-07-06 02:11:54 UTC

What context do you say this from? With what evidence?

2017-07-06 02:12:03 UTC

It means that laws are not as effective. Think prohibition.

2017-07-06 02:12:06 UTC

Mariage law changed culture, not vise versa

2017-07-06 02:12:17 UTC

for addictive substances?!

2017-07-06 02:12:23 UTC

What culture exists there?

2017-07-06 02:12:26 UTC

No, culture allwowed for mariage laws to be feaseable

2017-07-06 02:12:43 UTC

I'm talking about divorce(should have been more clear)

2017-07-06 02:12:53 UTC

Divorce laws changed the culture

2017-07-06 02:12:56 UTC

not vice - versa

2017-07-06 02:13:04 UTC

I figured you were talking about gay marriage. Culture first, there.

2017-07-06 02:14:08 UTC

Divorce laws had to be fuled by people working to promote it. In fact, when you start to look into it, culture in the west had been loosing up for years prior. Think about feminism. Divorce laws came after.

2017-07-06 02:14:08 UTC

What about gay marriage? what point are you making

2017-07-06 02:14:30 UTC

Culture advocated for such laws to be cool. That's why they were made.

2017-07-06 02:14:44 UTC

No, culture fought against it

2017-07-06 02:14:46 UTC

it was the politicians
