in advisory(study hall) the class was talking about BLM and they asked him about his opinion and the only thing he said was "Jew Lives Matter"

so my advice would be one of two options, A) head down finish up. or B) start recording when I knew my ideologies are going to cause flair ups, because if I keep my cool and don't dick around that recording will save my ass like it did for lindsay shepherd.

but know if you do act like an ass that recording will do the opposite and ruin you.

i am always as cool headed as possible even when someone is screaming/spitting in my face and i can get areested for recording conversations in WA state if a minor is involved w/ out parents consent even if it is in public

no it really does. as long as the person recording is in a state where it is legal, I.E swift and wests crazy recording lawsuit last year

No, because you are not being asked, the consent is of the recorder in a different state, there consent is the only one necessary

Could it be recorded then transferred to someone in a one consent state? I’d consent to do that for someone who lives in a state with jacked up laws. I guess there could be problems if asked to prove presence at the occurrence, but wouldn’t being in the state mean one would be under there laws? Or is there a way to claim recorded remotely or a way to record remotely, maybe an app that lets you record audio of phone calls?
Lots of questions, I know. I’m assuming since I turned on my recorder during an arrest I was present at, and I specifically told investigator to wait for me to do so and he did so (that could be implied consent)...
I can be pretty good a finding wiggle room to check for in legal matters. 😉

If one can say BLM in a collected manner, then one should be allowed to say JLM or It’s OK to Be White in a collected manner also. I agree with other poster, never let them see they’ve pissed you off.

I have no authority here, but I'm pretty sure the law that applies is the one of the state where it was recorded.

@Alisha Supertramp I would say the hardest part for khan situation is that he is recording young kids who need parental release, so even if they sad yes it wouldn't count.

That law doesn’t make sense. The police have to let people record them all the time.

@wolfman1911 this is why I brought up the phone call, if the recording is done on a phone in a one consent state, that recording is legal, even if the events recorded are in a 2 consent state. its a grey area

Yeah, that’s what I mean. If you call someone who records it, if they’re cozy at home and record the audio, it’s not illegal.

but what if you stream it, and have someone record the stream from your phone...

what we need is a Somali server that records streams and audio, thus allowing us to bipass these laws easily.
