I was a democrat in the 90s under clinton. In voice only because I wasn't old enough to vote, but I remember being a full on anarchist, and told that it was the ideals of my party to have the government leave me the hell alone

back then the churchy republicans where the finger wagglers that insisted what you should and shouldn't do. That's where the term Liberal came from

The socialists were always in the Democrat wing, but they were a fringe voice up until Barack rose to power. But when the Democrats turned full on authoritarian, the term "Liberal" was co-opted into the lexicon

I've been all over the political spectrum. Up until 2012 I was a liberal, and then I slowly drifted towards the center, and then I drifted towards the right the past year or so

so family gatherings are always a blast

My parents both come from Union households, where you're pretty much forced to vote democrat or get fired. Their oldest son hosts a conservative webshow, and their daughter won't watch a TV show that rips on Trump

That's very interesting. And one of my leftist friends (actually my only leftist friend) insists that what Hillary said about some Americans is true, that some women were forced by their husbands to vote Trump, and that's why she lost

Of course everything Hillary says is a crock of shit. It's just baffling that leftists so easily believe anything
