@Beemann Thanks dad, i am aware of what i do :)

2018-10-19 03:08:29 UTC

@Shadows I ... was, I haven’t followed him much recently

2018-10-19 03:08:38 UTC

He is one of /ourfags/ though

2018-10-19 03:09:09 UTC

linked a video from him

2018-10-19 03:15:15 UTC

Yeah, saw it mate, cheers

2018-10-19 03:15:21 UTC

In general I agree though

2018-10-19 03:15:28 UTC

Like he seems to be in the midst of kinda...

2018-10-19 03:15:45 UTC

Appreciating the fruits of religion and wanting it to propagate without being one of the faithful

2018-10-19 03:56:45 UTC

Hopefully the blue wave will fester into a blue waffle. Lol

2018-10-19 04:02:26 UTC

I’m praying it will

2018-10-19 04:02:43 UTC

Cause the meltdown would be just as delicious - if not more - as 2016

2018-10-19 04:03:13 UTC

I bet money on Trump that fateful day/night; won over $1k when he won

2018-10-19 04:03:20 UTC

I may superchat that this Sunday. Lol

2018-10-19 04:03:31 UTC

Most of the rest of the office were on the verge of tears

2018-10-19 04:03:53 UTC

Just saw Halloween, was fucking awesome. I heard it was apparently a #MeToo movie, but there's no such nonsense in that

2018-10-19 04:04:02 UTC

And I’m sitting there thinking you cunts are actually _crying_ over an election result in _America_ when you’re in _Australia_

2018-10-19 04:04:16 UTC

@Deleted User that’s hilarious. Everyone I work with is right wing.

2018-10-19 04:05:02 UTC

Lol.

2018-10-19 04:14:27 UTC

@Salacious Swanky Cat sad thing is, this was at a government institution

2018-10-19 04:14:31 UTC

The tax office, actually

2018-10-19 14:11:04 UTC

@RoadtoDawn a lot of movies are being called political that really aren't

2018-10-19 14:11:28 UTC

Kinda sad tbh

2018-10-19 14:11:55 UTC

Yeah, the main character doesn't act like a victim at all

2018-10-19 14:12:32 UTC

A basket case because of the Halloween movie 40 years ago, but no victim complex

2018-10-19 16:03:45 UTC

@RoadtoDawn In defense of the people alleging it was political, we have been conditioned to expect SJW nonsense from Hollywood at all times.

2018-10-19 16:45:21 UTC

In the south, chick fil a has double or triple lines at the drive through

2018-10-19 16:47:47 UTC

Well I think a lot of times postmodernism gets ahold of the things we like to try and pervert them

2018-10-19 16:48:46 UTC

In this case it's no one complaining that it's a metoo movie, it's SJWs putting that label on it post hoc

2018-10-19 16:50:23 UTC

The fact is it's incompatible, just like the majority of instances they distort media and art post hoc. They're desperate for narratives

2018-10-19 16:55:25 UTC

Lol. Makes sense. Kind of like how dumbledoore became gay.

2018-10-19 17:28:43 UTC

Dave Rubin talks about the ‘idw’ too much.

2018-10-19 17:30:27 UTC

Mainly I think cause he knows that he is not one of them yet desperately wants to be

2018-10-19 18:04:35 UTC

The idw won't be much of a thing in the long run, it's just a novelty. The group isn't unique in their treatment by SJWs. Ots too much of an across-the-board thing, not much different than attacks on "alt right" youtubers and "the patriarchy "

2018-10-19 18:09:43 UTC

It was all exciting at first, now it seems lame.

2018-10-19 18:45:19 UTC

Well they are lame cause they don’t wade into topics. Is all god or philosophy. That gets old quick.

2018-10-19 18:45:49 UTC

At some point practical application becomes a thing

2018-10-19 18:47:41 UTC

Yeah. I agree.

2018-10-19 19:47:29 UTC

@RoadtoDawn I wouldn't want to interfere with your enjoyment of a movie, but some people think that movie has some kind of MeToo influence is because Jamie Lee Curtis said as much. Also can i DM you?

2018-10-19 20:04:46 UTC

@Shadows Jaime Lee Curtis is definitely no conservative, quite the opposite I'd imagine, so that alleged account isn't surprising. But her saying that is the equivalent of trying to fix a square block into a rectangular hole, they have the same number of sides/vaguely similar, but they're not the same shape and don't match. Being the victim of something horrific as a matter of fact, and living as a one-dimensional characterization of a victim, are two different things. There's nuance here, distinction. If John Carpenter himself *intended* the movie to have strokes of #MeToo, he didn't do a good job at illustrating it. Her saying that doesn't change the movie, thankfully
And sure man, go for it

2018-10-19 20:39:58 UTC

Yes, i didn't say it did or not (as i've not seen the movie, also horror isn't my thing). Merely why some would argue it could be the case or believe it as such.

2018-10-19 20:42:00 UTC

also, the reason i asked to DM you, is because i did already and you don't have that option open :)
