I don't believe there is an active law on the books - which is a problem if that's their policy from a consumer's perspective - but it would not be unreasonable to pursue class-action litigation if that were the case.

There's no law on the books for that in that scenario. At least not a publicly acknowledged one in most states

Maybe I'll speak with a lawyer to find out whether or not a class-action suit is justified or not. It might be a tough sell considering I don't know if I've personally had my money redirected and it would carry more sway if it came from a content creator than a donor
