@SteelandSouls I do agree with you that not all things can be treated equally tho, laws should be, outside of instances were logically there are reasons that require unequal treatment.
You lost me towards the end of that sentence. It's reading kind of jumbled
And i'm not pretending anything, i wouldn't class every rape the same, what does that have to do with what i said?
It starts with what the premise of discussing rape in the first place is, yeah? When we're addressing how crimes are comparable between the genders, it behooves us more to compare like for like. Comparing violent rape to violent rape is a more honest comparison between men and women than inflating the statistics with statutory rape which walks the grounds of consensual without the approved authority of consent. This is like comparing apples and oranges and I hate when people say that because apples and oranges do have commonalities. Seeds on the inside, Grows on Trees, both Fruit. The biggest differences rely on what is on the inside of the fruit that makes the difference. It's the substance of the comparisons of rape crimes that make a difference.
I see nothing wrong with what you said, when did i conflate statutory rape with violent rape with effects on a person (even tho i still count them as rape).
"When you take into account all victims, you get close to equal numbers (not just counting prisons). With an disturbingly high number of women sexuality abusing boys who possibly grow up to abuse others, so this is not just a women problem. "
Now I get that it would be more egalitarian to address the rape issue as a blanket statement to say rape is bad but when you have issues like statutory rape that don't carry the same type and method of damage as violent rape, it can't be addressed the same why and the issue itself becomes (somewhat) gendered
That was my fault, i should have added a number to that, when i said boys and the women that rape them. I meant anywhere from infants (less the 1 years old) all the way up to legal adults (18 unless you live in a place where the age is lower). And while there are many people who think teen boys just want to have sex, so they are okay with it. I'm not one of those people, its still a crime and needs to be treated no differently then it happening to a teen girl. Which i understand will always be hard to do, because as a society we will always care about females and what happens to them more.
You trying to tell me that toddler wasn't asking for it?
heh (hopes you mean't that as a joke).
To quote Cenk. OF COOOUUUURRRRSSE. lol nah seriously though. The limit to statutory varies state by state so that's a tough one to peg down
that's true.
Hell, some courts even accommodate the minor's consent in spite of existing law.
Fun idea: start a food truck and call it “feminism is cancer”.
What should the menu items be?

Naw, they'd only get 77% of the dollar burger
That's fat shaming!
Lol
Advertise that they’ll only get 77% of the whole burger. Give them the whole one because the statement was a myth. Lol
@Euro looking for a green card exactly. It's fat shaming and the wage gap in one trigger.
