What
of what to spend your money on.
Oh yeah I maintain constant play on my XBOX when I'm home and PC when the damn thing wants to work and I have a switch for on the road
cool
But the old fall back is PUBG on my phone
I would love to get a nintendo system, but i'm waiting for them to make a system i like heh (even tho they make many great games).
I like the switch a lot so far Zelda is pretty fun and so is DOOM
Ya the switch seems ok, i still don't like the pad system, and buying controls are way to much.
You have a point the only draw back I've had so far is the Battery life it only good for about and hour or so of play
but i'd be happy to put up with that to play the good games they make, i just hope for a better system.
So a switch 2.0 basically. This is probably the best console Nintendo has put out in the 10 years
Well, all their systems are still fun, just some are a bit more functional. Which the switch most likely gets right.
@Salacious Swanky Cat I told a lie, i will be playing games and listening music instead.
@Shadows cool beans. I’ll scan through this document and share anything noteworthy
There have been rumors circulating as of late that points to a possible new SKU for the Switch with updated hardware
I have so many consoles and games...yet all I have been playing lately is an MMO that came out 16 years ago
I've not played an MMO for a few years after playing many of them for a long time. I want to jump into one, but i don't have that kind of time at the moment heh.
Was playing XIV heavily until the last patch. The new "ultimate weapon" content ended up being a poorly done homage to XI...... which made me miss XI. So now I am just gonna sit out a couple of patch cycles and play XI instead
sorry... Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XI
ya i knew what you meant heh
despite the dated game engine and ui. I am still having more fun replaying through storyline content. Though the use of reshade does cover a little bit of the dated graphics at least
I've never played any FF outside of X, but i wanted to jump into XIV till i saw how crappy it started, but since then it looked a lot better.
after its relunch
If you like story, it's a slow start. The expansions do get better in that department
but the content grind is monotonous
It's why I am going to sit out a couple of patches, that way I'll have at least 10 hours of story content to get through instead of 3-4
I've played many MMOs, grinds don't really bother me :)
that's cool
grinds only slightly bother me... as long as there is something to break up the monotony. Patch cycles and dungeons have become to....predictable. People love to rip XIII apart for being corridors.... yet I rarely see anyone say that about XIV's "dungeons" and "raids"
Well, the difference there (and some people will still not like either), is outside of those dungenos/raids. Its still an open world.
true...but most of the content is within the dungeons
It seems every mmo is missing just something, but i don't really blame most good games for that. No one can get everything right.
It's sadly a victim of the trade off for quarterly patches
I stopped a few months ago but the game i was playing the most was the moba Smite for awhile.
I after playing WoW (and many other mmo before that), i kept wanting to jump into guild wars 2/tera/VIX/black desert/swtor which i played for awhile, but didn't like their free system and didn't want to pay for a while.
Wow, i just looked it up. I didn't know Asheron's Call stopped last year, thought it was still going.
Oh wow, you can do a lot better than FFX. V-IX are not wholly unsafe bets, Tactics is great. The thing to remember is that for most entries they try to change things up
That said, for JRPGs you can also do a lot better than Final Fantasy in general
IX and VI are <3
V and VI are the best in the series. I would throw out the Crowder 'change my mind' thing, but you can't.
V is amazing too
