That sounds sketchy. she clearly has a job. What reason is she giving? (Without further information my default answer would also be Hell No!)

2018-10-31 19:59:04 UTC

It’s mostly because of a job. She has a place in another state.

2018-10-31 20:03:36 UTC

How well do you know this person

2018-10-31 20:05:41 UTC

Barely.

2018-10-31 20:27:09 UTC

I don’t know if she’s aggressive either. She is single and close to my age. I’m fairly attractive too.

2018-10-31 20:29:55 UTC

Is she fairly attractive too?

2018-10-31 20:34:23 UTC

Um. Well. Ehh. Not the most. Like, not In my league (I’m a solid 7, objectively). She kinda has crazy eyes too. Plus, boss frowns upon coworker dating. I’ve never lived with a girl I’m not related to either. So this is weird. To me at least.

2018-10-31 20:40:20 UTC

Never much so. Just tell her you wouldn't be comfortable doing so

2018-10-31 20:40:42 UTC

That’s true. I may just go ahead and do that.

2018-10-31 22:25:52 UTC

There’s got to be so many children knocking on my door this evening.

2018-10-31 22:31:20 UTC

My apartment complex has people pick up a door hanger so families know who has handing out candy and who isn't.

2018-10-31 22:32:11 UTC

Lol. That’s funny. There are tons of small children on my street.

2018-10-31 22:33:03 UTC

@Salacious Swanky Cat no kids knocking on truck doors thankfully. And how long have you known said coworker

2018-10-31 22:42:26 UTC

I'm handing out candy rn

2018-10-31 22:45:40 UTC

@Saint not long. At all. It isn’t going to happen. I said no.

2018-10-31 22:49:37 UTC

So Apparently the term " Truth Avoider" is a thing

2018-10-31 22:49:50 UTC

You mean...liar?

2018-10-31 22:50:19 UTC

Well...now that I think about it, dodging the truth and lying aren't exactly the same thing

2018-10-31 22:50:48 UTC

I just saw that term on a Youtube video

2018-10-31 22:51:15 UTC

If you're dodging the truth, wouldn't that mean you know what the truth is?

2018-10-31 22:51:21 UTC

It was basically a Don Lemon "Ownage" video

2018-10-31 22:51:33 UTC

big quotes there

2018-10-31 22:51:51 UTC

And wow I almost forgot it was Halloween lel

2018-10-31 22:51:53 UTC

Ah. No one can really "own" Don Lemon if he owns himself

2018-10-31 22:53:27 UTC

@RoadtoDawn If you are dodging the truth, you would know what the truth is, otherwise you wouldn't really be avoiding it.

2018-10-31 22:53:39 UTC

Sounds a lot like lying to me

2018-10-31 22:53:55 UTC

Not really. So you have a lie, a lie by omission, and then you have avoiding the truth.

2018-10-31 22:54:54 UTC

If you ask if I broke the vase, in each of these 3 scenarios, I can do this. I can say no, I didn't break the vase. I can say that someone you know broke that vase. I can also dodge the question by talking about how long you had that vase

2018-10-31 22:55:17 UTC

Bear in mind, all of these are counter-productive and stupid. They aren't the same thing though

2018-10-31 22:56:28 UTC

That’s true, but the effect is still the same.

2018-10-31 22:56:48 UTC

In terms of obfuscating the truth? Yes.

2018-10-31 22:57:06 UTC

Okay, so you're pretty much talking about not matching the person's question with an appropriate response

2018-10-31 22:57:11 UTC

Yes. They are all forms of lying

2018-10-31 22:57:40 UTC

Sometimes people don't ask questions correctly, which leaves room for lies by omission

2018-10-31 22:58:13 UTC

If I want to be accurate (or arguing semantics) I wouldn't say they are all lying. I'm not lying if I'm not answering your question. I'm just refusing to answer your question.

2018-10-31 22:58:42 UTC

Right, you're just simply giving a response not compatible with the questioner's intention

2018-10-31 22:58:49 UTC

Exactly

2018-10-31 22:59:14 UTC

The asker's intention is to reach a specific conclusion. And by not asking the correct question, the person answering can skate around it

2018-10-31 23:00:37 UTC

So basically the approach of all SJWs.

2018-10-31 23:00:40 UTC

Politicians are better at avoiding the truth than lying. That's not to say that they don't lie, because we all know they do. It is a whole lot easier to placate their base when they can honestly say that they never said a law they passed would do something they didn't like

2018-10-31 23:00:46 UTC

Pretty much
