*thinking someone needs to hide all the other slurs from Salacious*
uh oh
Some of them make so sense. Like Sambo. How is that racist to black people? My dad’s name is Sam and everyone calls him Sambo. Some of them just sound funny like gook. Lol.
I'm not sure slurs are ever mean't to really make sense, tho most of them aren't really mean't to be slurs anyway.
I just don’t really care because I’m not racist.
Ya, that's what i mean. A person name calling someone doesn't mean that the words they randomly pick (that might tie to a part of anything). Doesn't make what is said racist. People lose what makes anyone racist isn't just the words, but the sentiment.
I agree. Most people don’t want to nor care to be racist anymore. Well, normal people at least.
I've never been a big fan of Shapiro, but i don't attack people who do good work in some areas. Enjoyed his new chat with Tucker.
I watched that interview. I think Tucker has good instincts even if he can't properly articulate the issue. The one that got me thinking was when they discussed moving away from your family/hometown. I think this was something Shapiro doesn't understand. When a person moves away from family and friends they lose a support network. I think Tucker correctly understands that this has value beyond monetary. Shapiro should understand given he has mentioned living near his parents (and his wife's parents) because they help them out with things like child care. I suspect that having that support network helps lower the likelihood of broken families, and additionally provides other benefits which people under estimate: family looks out for your physical and mental health, maybe they help you find a marriage partner, or help you find a job. Shapiro never really left home (leaving for law school was temporary) so he probably doesn't understand how leaving support network affects you. On the other hand, Tucker mentions leaving for the east coast and never returning, so he probably understands it a bit better.
Sorry for the long message.
Good point, ya most of what Tucker talked about was a useful way to examine these kinds of problems.
Morning friends
Morning to you too
Is there a good video compilation of Donald trump condemning the Nazis and kkk?
good? there is a video as for it being good
quick search found a few. No one seems to have combined them together
Oh. I told some leftist that Donald not some radical far right crazy, just a populist. He responds with ‘So how about Trump's refusal to unequivocally condem Nazis? Or the KKK?’
He did condemn them tho
Just one clip each
Yeah. Good point.
Try to find a video of Bernie or Nancy Pelosi condeming Antifa....
all you can find is them saying "I disavow all violence"
That’s true, but I wouldn’t ever hold either of them responsible for antifa violence.
correct but the same is true for trump
Good point too, but they don’t see antifa as an equal to nazis.
well the bigger issue is there isn't that many true Nazis. People have been loosening up the definition of Nazi to include almost everyone
I get that, but these people don’t see the far left as being morally equivalent to the far right. I argued with some guy over the Charlotte event. He couldn’t accept that trump was correct about violence on both sides.
Charlottesville?
Yes. Sorry.
Auto correct fail.
If you watch the car ramming video....As soon as the guy crashes the car people are hitting the car with bats and pipes which they were carring. Not sure how many peaceful protests are armed
Yeah. I’ll handle that comment later
I have a brand new supper triggered lefty to play with. Lol
In reality it should be on the person making the claim to show proof. aka Trump is racist....they need to prove what he has done that is racist not proving that he is not
True.
I really pissed some idiot boomer lefty off. He left a message so long that I can’t copy it here. Lol
It’s hilarious
