There's specialized earplugs that don't fuck with pitch, and mutes will just make your shit quieter

They're loud as fuck and right next to your head, so noise management is always good

I didn’t know that. I have a mute for my trombone. I don’t like to use it because it feels weird playing with it.

I like the mute for my violin because I can pick out the notes a little easier
