All the right wingers here have been cowed into being quiet cause there’s just not a lot of hope left for this place

2018-11-26 12:52:33 UTC

Example: I had an employee of mine _scream_ at me for jokingly calling my brother “fag” because _GAY MARRIAGE IS LEGAL NOW_

2018-11-26 12:52:49 UTC

Needless to say she didn’t stay an employee for long

2018-11-26 12:53:00 UTC

But point made, you know?

Must have been a pretty empty conversation that drove you to check your messages and message back as well.

2018-11-26 13:15:48 UTC

@wolfman1911 what you just said sums it up well. I'm sure there are folks on the right who do that. It used to be me (and still is to some capacity) cause I really don't want to deal with the social stigma of being a Conservative in Liberalville where literally every other year has a BLM sign on it (or at least "Hate Has No Home Here" sign).

2018-11-26 13:17:49 UTC

Cause I'm afraid of the interactions with folks like @Deleted User's subordinate.

2018-11-26 13:28:22 UTC

@Chump_or_Champ Ya, i will engage with anyone if they can put forth a well thought out argument, or they are at least trying to, and maybe mock them if they can't.
I must be really tired, cuz i saw "Hate Has No Homo here" first heh.

2018-11-26 13:28:50 UTC

That's not untrue

2018-11-26 13:29:02 UTC

Indeed

2018-11-26 14:04:48 UTC

Jesus, The Soy are now claiming that using tear gas on a violent mob of illegals is a war crime.

2018-11-26 14:11:43 UTC

Wow I called it lol

2018-11-26 14:13:36 UTC

It brings me back to my near constant question: are these people really this stupid, or do they think everyone else is.

2018-11-26 14:18:34 UTC

Very few people are truly stupid, they are just blinded by their faith.

2018-11-26 14:56:39 UTC

That's a good question. I think it can also come down to a particular topics ignorance

2018-11-26 14:58:19 UTC

There's stupidity, and there's simply not knowing a topic. And having people exploit that blind spot

2018-11-26 15:19:47 UTC

*catch the wind...*

2018-11-26 15:20:02 UTC

Damn, I love that outro

2018-11-26 15:26:29 UTC

Might listen to the call-in show live Wednesday, I don't feel I've gotten my M&B fix from that shortened episode

2018-11-26 16:21:23 UTC

Does anyone think its fine if you give a restaurant or any food joint a bad review if they get your order wrong?

2018-11-26 16:23:14 UTC

I wouldn't say it's necessarily wrong but it should be proportional

2018-11-26 16:25:37 UTC

I agree. I think its excessive if someone gives a place a 1-star review, and just says they got the wrong food

2018-11-26 16:26:30 UTC

If a place doesn't have that many reviews on a platform, it can look pretty bad for some places

2018-11-26 16:27:48 UTC

On the flip side, if I had a severe peanut allergy or something and someone fucked up my order on those lines that would be a 1*
I think the content of the review is more important though

2018-11-26 16:30:22 UTC

That would more than earn a 1-star

2018-11-26 16:30:47 UTC

If someone botches that after being told of the allergy, that's pretty bad

2018-11-26 16:33:51 UTC

That's what I mean

2018-11-26 16:34:26 UTC

I would assume that anyone who will die from eating thing will tell all of their food providers about intolerance to thing

2018-11-26 16:39:45 UTC

My cousin can’t stand onions, so she says she has an allergy to discourage the use of onions. She still gets onions every now and then.

2018-11-26 16:42:54 UTC

It’s funny

2018-11-26 16:43:09 UTC

...

2018-11-26 16:43:23 UTC

‘Great story; compelling and rich’

2018-11-26 17:02:45 UTC

I think if I had an allergy that put my life on the line, my life would be completely transformed. I'd only go to places I know wouldnt put me at risk

2018-11-26 17:42:48 UTC

Yeah.

2018-11-26 20:25:57 UTC

What are people's thoughts on homeschooling/unschooling here anyway? I dunno about financial logistics but the methodology seems sound

2018-11-26 20:29:04 UTC

Our founding fathers were all classically educated, and I think of them whenever I think of 'great minds'

2018-11-26 20:29:40 UTC

So it has to be some kind of healthy learning methodology

2018-11-26 20:30:17 UTC

@Beemann It completely depends on the parents. I was homeschooled and I have a few mixed feelings on it, however I think I would've done worse in a public school.

2018-11-26 20:30:39 UTC

Public school fxcked me up for life

2018-11-26 20:30:51 UTC

Or rather, set me back a lot
