Hey man, I was married to a Mexican, I had Mexican in laws. I fucking earned the right to be racist against them.
:)
Any state that elected Paul Ryan can't be, by definition, the greatest in the Union
Snap
Jeez, that's harsh.
Geez. That burns hotter than the back of a oven.
My state didn't elect Paul Ryan, only one of it's 7 districts did. House Races are districted, he's not a Senator
And....for the record.....I like Paul Ryan, at least as representative....I cede that he wasn't the best choice for speaker, which is the ONLY reason any of you even know his name
It always seemed weird to me how he went from being a hero for doing. . .something? Writing a budget maybe? And from there he was suddenly the House Speaker and the consumate villain.
He seems like a nice guy.
Wail is speaking from the joy behar philosophy of gerrymandering.
Paul Ryan inherited a position that he didn't want in the first place because Boehner resigned out of almost nowhere, and as the last Presidential Vice President Candidate, Congressional Republicans rallied together and appointed and voted him in
With Boehner having just resigned, Ryan knew that his dismissal of the position would lead to division in the party with Barack holding the reigns, so he accepted, and as soon as he had an opportunity, he retired completely
His retirement had nothing to do with his Kids. Paul Ryan found an escape from the job he never wanted while there was a Republican in the executive branch
The only thing i really know about Ryan was how much he was talking about Atlas Shrugged..........
Paul Ryan was my representative for my entire adult life save two years when I lived in District 2. He was a Republican who was able to stay popular in a District that should never have been friendly (Racine, Kenosha, the Hispanic side of Milwaukee, Janesville) to him. His platform was almost exclusively entitlement reform, which drew him opposition from both sides of the political aisle
@Beemann Is Tencent bad just because its a china company and china censors a lot. Or because of anything else it does?
I love how the H in Boehner’s name changed the pronunciation completely
Without it he would just be Böner
Which makes sense since as the lead RINO he boned the republicans after the 2010 and 2014 landslides
Cunt
Lmao
the H doesn't change the pronunciation. the O before the E does

Nah the H makes it go from oooh to argh
Aeehh*
Cause normally you’d have it as an extension of the previous sound I thought
Like Müller is pronounced mew-ler not moo-ler because German/French
Wait
Other way around
It’s supposed to be moo-ler not mew-ler

most people here say Muller...but I knew a girl growing up who pronounced it Mew-ler
Huh
Guess it’s different in good ol US of A
it's a german thing. My paternal Grandmother's Maiden name is the same way, it has an o before the e, but there is no H
O:
Oh okay
I got used to the assumption that “oe” usually meant that it was spelt ö at one point and therefore made that sound
So ue would have been ü etc
