Like Matt said, if one settles too soon, you may not know what you want. Sure you could, perhaps, make it work for your lifetime after a lot of work, but you might very well be miserable for a lifetime

2019-02-21 04:00:17 UTC

partially, but when you have your first kid at around 30, you're 45 by the time it's a teenager.

2019-02-21 04:00:21 UTC

But Sal. They fell out of love...or some bullshit excuse

2019-02-21 04:00:32 UTC

One must be willing to sacrifice in order to have a successful marriage

2019-02-21 04:00:47 UTC

Romance is weak

2019-02-21 04:00:53 UTC

Sacrifice is strong

2019-02-21 04:00:58 UTC

@Arn I’d agree with this. A fair number of people have gotten married with someone just because that is what you were supposed to do, much like going college.

2019-02-21 04:01:25 UTC

say your kid waits until _they're_ 30 to have kids and base case scenario you're 60 when your grandchild is born and 75 when it's 15.

2019-02-21 04:01:27 UTC

that's _insane_.

2019-02-21 04:01:59 UTC

and that's for the _first_ kid.

2019-02-21 04:02:07 UTC

Younger is better because the woman’s eggs are fresher.

2019-02-21 04:02:14 UTC

@newtradist That is EXACTLY my story. I'm the first of my siblings and my mother had me at 38

2019-02-21 04:02:34 UTC

younger women older men seems to be the natural way

2019-02-21 04:02:37 UTC

had a stay at home dad as well!

2019-02-21 04:02:39 UTC

i'm sorry that this is personal now, but i think that's unfortunate, man.

2019-02-21 04:02:47 UTC

So get married to someone with a young body but an older mind

2019-02-21 04:03:08 UTC

I'm turning alright so far!

2019-02-21 04:03:19 UTC

Men are the head of the household

2019-02-21 04:03:36 UTC

well... alright considering im talking to strangers on discord at 11pm 😉

2019-02-21 04:03:56 UTC

You know you love us.

2019-02-21 04:03:56 UTC

So would it stand to reason that the head of the household ought to be staying at home?

2019-02-21 04:04:00 UTC

waiting incentives fewer children, discourages strong bonds with your grandparents, risks your baby's health and the safety of your wife in childbirth.

2019-02-21 04:04:27 UTC

The home is the woman’s domain

2019-02-21 04:05:01 UTC

no it doesn't, @SteelandSouls. there's a difference between the 'head of the household' and the person most directly responsible for the very young child. we're biologically predisposed to traditional gender roles.

2019-02-21 04:05:03 UTC

The wife submits to the husband and the husband sacrifices himself for his wife

2019-02-21 04:05:06 UTC

I disagree, The home is whoever want to rule it domain

2019-02-21 04:05:14 UTC

freedom of choice

2019-02-21 04:05:44 UTC

The children must obey and respect the parents

2019-02-21 04:05:48 UTC

Would a traditional gender role apply to the animal kingdom as well where lions sleep in the den while the lioness' go on the hunt?

2019-02-21 04:05:57 UTC

The home must have order.

2019-02-21 04:05:59 UTC

we're humans, dude.

2019-02-21 04:06:32 UTC

completely different animal (pun intended), and, if you believe in it, evolutionary track.

2019-02-21 04:06:32 UTC

Not what I asked though

2019-02-21 04:06:41 UTC

I'm all in for biology, but there's a limit to how much of it you can use for arguments about human behavior

2019-02-21 04:07:16 UTC

Women are happier submitting to their husbands

2019-02-21 04:07:19 UTC

Humans are likely the only species capable of being transcendent of biology...within limitations of course

2019-02-21 04:07:33 UTC

for the first 6 months the man is biologically unfit to feed the kid. at least give me _that_.

2019-02-21 04:07:41 UTC

I will give you that

2019-02-21 04:07:47 UTC

lol. thank you. 😆

2019-02-21 04:07:51 UTC

Men are fulfilled through work.

2019-02-21 04:07:54 UTC

That won't stop me from trying though
