Correct, but a "moral framework" is not the same as "morality"
sure
Objective morality is essentially the correct moral framework
is he still here?
with all other moral frameworks being "less moral"
No.. Objective morality are moral standards that are set in stone
Whether or not that is included in a moral framework is subjective
you're not actually contradicting what I've said though
ima just say that everything is intrinsically linked to value which is artificial.
Like if we can sum up Objective Morality as answers on a test, it's the set of correct answers, and all other deviations from that - the other moral frameworks mentioned prior - are less correct. But ultimately Objective Morality is still a set of posible answers on the test. It's just the most correct
Value isn't entirely artificial, though there is artificial valuation

what about my post is wrong?
You are part of a species that has survived because the entirety of non defective entities want to survive, and of those the majority want to survive and procreate
Biological intuitions are not "values"
ergo there are certain value judgements that will be inbuilt, and from those other associations can be borne
We have a biological intuition to advance the human race, not a value judgement
i wasnt refering to that and biology has no effect on morality equating the two is moronic at best.
why wouldnt it have an effect on morality?
so if i think killing all low iq racial groups would advance humanity i am moraly in the right.
that has nothing to do with the biological imperative
what about morality has any link to biology? explain it for my pea brain please.
Biology has a huge effect on morality. Even other non-human species have some sort of moral framework, such as protecting their family from harm, or not just fucking killing each other.
Do you hold a child as accountable for misdeeds as an adult? Do you not consider how likely your family is to survive and thrive when making decisions overall?
there are a variety of components that feed into our moral framework that are based on our knowledge of the world, and our biological drive
biological drive is to procreate so im not sure how that links to morality.
Biology affects morality which affects whether or not we make morally unacceptable decisions.
how does it effect morality though?
explain the link
Without biology, where do we get our morality? out of thin air? god?
stop just saying they are linked
even many nonsensical moral rulings are based on what was, at one point, survival
your drive is to survive long enough to procreate and help ensure your offspring do the same. To that end, you want a habitat that works for you and your offspring
Unless you're religious, there is no other explanation for morality existing. It comes from biology. We evolved to be a sociable species.
to get this you compromise. The collective security pact then abhors wanton murder
because that lowers the stability and safety of the individual components
would any of you ever be soldiers? ever fight?
We doing some fight club shit?
I suspect I'll have to do so, if things continue to deteriorate
I'm down
