Rebranded populism

@2krispy4u for over 15 years now my mom been raising chicken in their back yard, usually around a dozen or so and they are mix of different breeds. I don't taste a difference between them, but it's kind of fun to see what colors I get when I go and pick up a carton of eggs. It's also fun to watch then run around

@coldemoon yeah. I’ve heard there is no taste difference just visually appealing. I buy backyard chicken magazines at Sam’s and one day will have chickens or ducks. I think it will be a good learning experience for my kids one day

Yeah! They will eat chicks and their own eggs. If give chickens crushed up egg shells that is supposed to help. I’ve also seen chicken eat snakes and rats. Fucking dinosaurs dude.

@2krispy4u My mom told me that one time a racoon got into the run and killed one of them but left the corpse (guessing it ate it's fill), and by the time my parents got around to clean it up, the other chickens already pecked it clean.

It just makes the chicken more chicken-y @coldemoon 😅😅

Circumcision started as an effort to controlling male sexuality https://youtu.be/ESnSxIpabgQ (small video about that) and nothing to do with "health" (outside of when its medically necessary), this has only come in to discussion in an attempt to justify a terrible practice. Any "benefit" people will point to for this practice can easily be dealt with from normal care. MGM is no different then FGM (and most times worst).
