I need to get more involved in a church or something to find good women/friends generally. College is a pretty terrible place for that.

College is terrible for finding good women but college ministries aren’t. My wife and I go to the local on campus baptist church at LSU and there’s tons of good single ladies there who basically just want to find someone who’s husband material

I had a married guy in some of my classes

Ours is so awesome. Good worship services every Sunday and perfect community groups throughout the week. I’m really gonna miss them when we move

I've become friends with some older students that are already married with kids

Oh yeah and the young adults here are cranking out babies like crazy lately. This church just got started up like 5 years ago and it’s growing like a weed

I think that probably depends on the institution and when you meet them. A lot of people go into these institutions moderate/conservative

It’s kinda crazy though. Our church is so young they’re basically begging for more volunteers for the children’s ministry now. It gives me such a warm feeling in my heart

We joined the church about 3 years ago and it was basically us and maybe 30 other regulars. We showed up to service a little late this morning and had to search for seats

It’s really cool watching it blossom over the years. You should remember how small it is now and think back to it in a few years

The church is already growing quickly. There’s a core of at least 50 members now and tons of college students come in.
