I woke up this morning and had a thought. I had a bunch of lefty friends on Facebook from my past that I would occasionally engage with political banter with.

I remember the last conversation I had with on of them, they basically ended the discussion by saying I "lacked experience" because I was half their age.

I hadn't seen any of their posts in a while. So I decided to see how they were doing (they were my archery buds and I legitimately cared about them.)

Turns out I was blocked. I just had to laugh. They would take the moral high ground and grand stand about me being too young to know what I was talking about, yet they are the ones that completely shut me out of their lives just because I disagreed.

@DJ_Anuz sounds familiar to me. They must be really triggered if they're not willing to use reason to change your mind, but instead pull some fallacy out of thin air

@RoadtoDawn I just find it supremely ironic that the last thing I heard from her was that because she was older and more mature, she understood the nuance of firearm ownership better than me.

I blocked one person over politics; I'd said a hundred times leftism is racist. She didn't want to listen. She also spammed SARG with "MandatoryPuppy" memes and rape added her anti-gun buddies, *one of whom accused me of threatening Barack.* (I'm sure Portland Secret Service office was *"bemused"* to have a non-suspect come to *them.*)
I've unblocked her, but I know not to trust her.

it depends on how you want to get around...your own car or going to use metro or bus

the more "in" the touristy places the higher price

I would use the Metro DC map with booking.com or AirBNB to find a place outside the immediate area if your using public

City bus is fine.
