i can see the usefulness of a link channel as an overflow

but agree with radspakr on allowing links in general for continuity

@Big T I'm not being a contrarian, he doesn't understand how many different conversions i've had on this sever in each different spot of general, links,pictures,videos. If all of those things were in one channel (i think he wants pictures to still be up). Most of those conversations would have been way more fractured and having many different things posted in them.
My argument is it was fine before, but not necessary to expand Every conversion to so many different channels.
